A "strawman argument" would be to set forth the weakest version of a position in order to knock it down, and try to pass it off as a clean victory, when one has neglected to address the strongest form.

I have not heard much Amerindian music, no. Some, though.

Although King Arthur and medieval romances certainly enter into the picture in defining Western civilization, I think that the sources are more varied, especially when talking about the modern version.
