MSFT and XP: The upgrades will come through Dell (and others) as they ship boxes to customers...just like the Pentium 4...they cannot let the perception of obsolescence linger in this market. Don't overlook the FACT that MSFT can drive the need to upgrade, and will if sales do not meet their plan...through subtle "enhancements"...

MSFT also owns the telecom kingdom: Napster alone took 4% of the backbone bandwidth...one app by MSFT integrated into XP (like peer-to-peer file sharing...it's in there) could wipe out the entire available bandwidth...

Now that's a Gorilla!
