Prolife: What is your opinion of the new contraceptive patches that women wear instead of taking birth-control pills? Looks like they might become a reality in this country in about 12 months. The example that I saw on TV shows that the patches are worn on abdomen. TV also reported fewer women accidentally conceived using patch than similar sample group on "the pill." With world population booming out of control, all females over age 11 in some overpopulated countries (several years down the road admittedly) might have to wear such patches all the time.

Wonder if the Bush administration will oppose such a form of birth control based on puritanical reasons. Wouldn't surprise me. It would appear to me that if the patches become widespread and economical, that certainly would cut down on the number of abortions in this country.
