Those nominations also include two judges appointed by Clinton. As usual your command of the facts leaves a lot to be desired.

The Republican Senate had a rule under Clinton that every Republican Senator had a veto power over any judge nominated from his state. This is why Ashcroft could veto Ronnie White. The Democrats are now insisting on the same privilege and will filibuster (60%) any attempt to change the rule. This will give Democratic Senators a veto power over conservative judges.
