How long do you drive for each day?
I fill up my 6 pack cd changer and I'm set for the week.

True the car makers are involved, if they can scam the cost of it into the price of the car, with no option to delete it, then maybe......

Would they bundle the service, along with the equipment, right into the new car purchase at a discount? Just like the Onstar stuff. This would make it even easier to sell....

I was also considering XMSR... on one hand it is losing money like crazy and up against traditional radio + Internet radio + MP3, etc. On the other hand, it stands a good chance of becoming the cable TV of radio. After looking at their station line-up, I decided to skip it. It simply didn't offer what I want to hear... and wasn't even close to what I hear on Spinner.com and other Net radio stations already out there. Now if only there was a solid wireless device for the car w/ fast Internet access, and that may be the one area XMSR does well with: car radio, which is exactly what they are aiming for actually. If they had 150 stations, I imagine they would have all myself and others would want to hear, but their 100 station line-up just doesn't cut it for me. But I'm the same way w/ cable/satellite TV: I love DISH's 150 channels where I can get Sundance, Independent Movie Channel, and others; but the 100 station offerings from the cable biggies left me somewhat disappointed. But, millions of others love it. I guess it's important to keep my personal choices out of investment choices, but that's just me... can't invest in something I don't appreciate.
