How about the way AMD's done it so far with names. Slot-A Athlons (Classic) were replaced with Socket-A Athlons (TBird). Notebook Palominos can just be called mobile Athlons, and desktop Palominos can be ... ... ...

Sorry guys, that's where I lost my train of thought. Maybe Athlons with PowerNow (Palomino). Remember, for retail/OEM purposes, all it needs to say is Athlon for brand continuation. The mhz/ghz increases allow for increased value to buyer. Sometimes consumers are wary of something too new. For the DIY crowd, Pricewatch will most likely denote TBird vs. Palomino desktop chips.
