Hi Gene Parrott; Did you see the third voltage step yet? Just a yes or no would be sufficient. If you don't want to publicly admit that it's there, you can send me a PM. Re: "... the current from the source is the same." Well, it's a current source, did you think that there was another possibility? The (non trivial) topic of our discussion was the voltage steps, and how they apply to output compliance. As far as I can tell, the rest of your post is correct, ignoring the "neat solution" commentary, but I don't know what a "delta" load impedance is. -- Carl
