Kap: AMD can even explain that XP stands for "extended power" as in power management.

Has anyone else noticed that AMD have stopped using the term "PowerNow!"? All their recent roadmaps (as well as Jerry this latest Shareholders' Meeting) use the term "Power Managed" instead.

Boy, leave for a couple days and get WAAAYYYYY behind on this thread.

How about Athlon 4X for the desktop, and Athlon 4XP for server/laptop?

That would give the impression of four times instead of the next one in a sequence. The "P" could stand for 'professional'... Or you could reverse them (4X-server/laptop and 4XP-desktop) and let the "P" stand for 'personal'.

Sorry if already mentioned -- only 340 or so more posts to catch up :-(
