LOL...at least they're not doing billions...anyway, it's refreshing to see that there's a gold miner with access to the capital markets...haven't seen that in quite a while.

ROTFL! Look who was selling their paper:

Newmont Mining Corp. (NYSE:NEM - news), the gold producer, sold $275 million
in 10-year notes, said joint-lead manager Salomon Smith Barney on Wednesday.

J.P. Morgan was the other joint lead-manager for the sale.

Guess they (JPM) wanna get on their good side, before they have to come to them with hat in hand, begging for gold scraps to cover their derivative-shelled arse!
