That is good news on EMC..share buyback. They probably got frusterated with the stock going sideways while the business (visibility) was getting better. Unlike many other large tech names, EMC lacked the buyback as a way to support the stock price. Therefore, it should be able to give the stock a nice boost....as it is something new for them. For example a buyback increase from a company like IBM would have a little less effect on the stock as it would be nothing new.
