Thanks, goepling. The phosphate being equivalent to cobalt in energy density, it looks to me like that's the answer. Besides, Samsung would hardly invest in a technology that's on its way out.

Lev's remarks from the Nov 9 conf call notes have to be confirmed by Lev in the upcoming conf call. I suspect that many things could have changed during the negotiation, evaluation of VLNC technology, Samsung's own business strategy/plans for Li Poly battery production, and prior to announcing the license agreement. Looking forward to the conf call and some news about the phosphate patent. Ram
