If you have to go with a number scheme (because of Engineer mentality) I could see: Athlon (at least 1 number higher than INTC Pentium at any given time) Athlon 7 Athlon 7.7 Athlon 7.11 Athlon 16 (4 x 4) relative to P4 Athlon 25 (5 x 5) relative to P5 Better to have their own nomenclature NOT RELATED AT ALL to INTC. Otherwise you just project: "CLONE: Not as good as the original, but a cheaper price for those who can't afford quality" but Athlon 4.....? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAgggggggghhhhhhhhh! Best wishes, Jim
