RE: Timing of Tycom deal. I thought I read that the deal was struck in Dec-00 and only announced yesterday. If so, I wonder if the pricing was set then or is it dynamic.

Reason I ask is that even though the optical market was seen as softening by the end of '00, it is clearly seen as much softer now. So although Ciena knew they had the Tycom deal when they gave out guidance on the Q1 cc, could they still be getting hit with lowering of prices?

Just trying to anticipate "bad news" since we know there will be lots of good news on the cc next week.
