Tom Merideth has resigned ??? Mort Topper and Tom Merideth made that company work. Of course it's a different company now, but I'm worried that the IBM influence is too high already. IBMs strategies and techniques work well for them, but Dell is a different kind of company. Vanderslice seems to encourage competition between departments as a way of gaining efficiency instead of Topper's strategy of using merit rewards to encourage departments to work together more efficiently.
