Looking for you Jim,

Hope they're not actually making you work at new yahb.

Doing well this week. Locking in gains for a change. But shear luck. Will do better taking more control - i.e., shorting BRCD (for example) after riding it up to 38 and change - going long again... Short CIEN at 57.

Now just sloshing around with the tide, it rushes in - I feel like a genius, it rushes out - I add or say "Ahm ein fo da lonrun." A classic victim. Accident waiting to happen. In 1997-1999 I made 100s of thousand this way and thought I was John "Peter Lynch" Sommers. Then it all came crashing down and like a deer caught on the tracks in the glare of an on-coming train, I froze and just watched it all go away...I didn't sell, I didn't short. I just said, "Eit cain't go down any fatha...." You know the story.

Watching for 2250 break out. All hell breaks loose then. Load DELL if can get up and over 26 - and stay there (gettin close).

My Merrill guy called and said go long FNM. Guess that means I should short it. I thought I closed that account..

Currently long: CREE, SEBL, JNPR, EMC, BRCD, MCDT. Selling into strong surges tomorrow - rejigger (probably lose mcdt, emc & jnpr), looking to re-enter BEAS, STOR, QCOM (no gold or oils here). Can't wait to short when tide turns. Got to go back down sooner or later and fill the gap around 2060, right?

Hope all is well,

j
