You going to ante up to the tune of $40/month? How many average Joes do you think will be able to with rising gas prices, rising heating bills and electric bills -- not to mention increased food prices. U think the fear of being laid off might temper the appetite for such extras

A few folks buying one movie view at $10 a month ain't going to cover the costs already invested, let alone allow for new investment to provide such services ...

I think an average Joe is more apt to get a video for a $1 at the local grocery first under the current circumstances ...

Exactly! And have you seen broadcast.yahoo.com? These types of things are only the beginning. The next wave of bandwidth demand is coming and it's going to be a pipe choker. The carriers know this and will not be caught with their pants down. They are just getting their houses in order before figuring out how to start spending again.
