I've finished my jury duty and, concurrently, Conspiranoia. Great timing. Anyway, there was a tidbit in the book that I thought might be of interest to the thread.

While there was no mention of MT, our gal St. Joan made an appearance. It said she was a member of the Priory of Sion, which it described as a Gnostic like order that was "the guiding force for Freemasonry and the Knights Templar [and] included such members as Leonardo Da Vinci, Isaac Newton, Joan of Arc, Claude Debussy, and Jean Cocteau."

<<Bush announced his selection of Walters to head the Office of National Drug Control Policy in a Rose Garden ceremony. He also announced a series of Cabinet reviews to determine the effectiveness of current federal anti-drug efforts, and categorically rejected the idea of legalizing drugs.

``The only human and compassionate response to drug use is a moral refusal to accept it,'' Bush said. ``Drug legalization would be a social catastrophe. ... (It) would completely undermine the message that drug use is wrong.'' >>
