Nikita,

Isn't the best way to reduce taxes long term to pay off the debt, so that we no longer have to get taxed $300 billion every year to pay interest? Over a 10 year period, that represents a permanent $3 trillion tax cut (every ten years), as opposed to a $1.4 trillion one time cut, which threatens to increase the debt.
