Dear oldirtybastard:

You state:
> Don't take this the wrong way but one glimpse of your convoluted logic would tell the seller all he needed to know about following your advice. Substitute "mickey mantle baseball card" for "CSCO share" and your argument does not change in a substantive way..shouldn't that tell you something?

For give me, and with all due respect, but what on earth are you talking about? What does CSCO share have to do with mickey mantle baseball card? If you are trying to find a common ground between the two, the only thing I can see is that they both can be viewed as an investment. One will be based on its underlying business model and growth, and the other based on how popular the game baseball remains among mass population (who also remember who mickey mantle was).

You state:
> We are speaking different languages...you are a happy go lucky idealistic fool who will make money by falling on the right side of something you cannot understand.

We sure are speaking different languages! For one thing I have no clue what you are talking about. As for being a lucky idealistic fool... well... that is indeed a matter of opinion.

If you can convince someone to sell you CSCO shares for $3/shr then more power to you. But if you can do that I beg of you to help me buy that San Diego beachfront property for $10K.

Regards,

Addi has always been a shameless bull, you can't change that. The beachfront property analogy is bad on many levels. Most obviously, that property will always be beachfront property. Cisco's only asset is the brainpower of its employees. And it has been proven time and time again in Silicon Valley that employees will walk out the door at the drop of a hat.
