Please refrain from making posts like that on the other threads! From any standpoint, including yours, the folks causing "problems" for this thread are posting/reading on this thread, so complaints about them belong here. Folks on HTTP and BDBBR are trying to engage in civil money making discussions. No one really cares what is happenening on the other threads, especially this one.

Thank You!

And the problem posters on this thread will never be taken off ignore again so their attempts to "get a rise" will be a waste of time.

About Those Other Oil/NatGas Threads ----

Hi Roebear,
People see things differently. Since you referred to my post linking the other threads, I thought I'd tell you how I see this. I think that because this thread has been around for years & years, and is easily identified by someone searching for an oil/NG thread as having a name related to the oil sector, and having a very large total # of posts, it will be likely to be visited first by new readers. Also, folks who have read the thread off & on over the years sometimes return & don't know about the new threads. That's why I've posted links, and PMed folks about the new threads. I think of it as helping others to see the other available options, not as attempting to 'steal' posters. I've received a number of 'thank you' notes for pointing out the other threads.

I don't come here to 'Strictly...' to engage in banter. I think a few valuable folks still post here, and I come here to read what they write. I even skim thru SOTB & Iso's posts in case they post links worth reading, altho I don't find their posts worthwhile otherwise. If you & others like this thread as it is now, and prefer to post here, that's fine with me. I'm not trying to 'steal' you away! <G> I just want to point out the other thread-options available to those who might not be aware of them. Probably many people read all three threads.

'High Tolerance Plasticity' thread
Subject 50831

and 'Big Dogs Boom Boom Room' thread
Subject 50987

both of which are popular with oil sector investors & sector insiders.

regards,
diana

Roebear,

The moderated HTP thread does not discuss the personalities here on SD. On the few times that someone brings up "the two" over there, that person is politely reminded to disdain. All are in agreement that it is bad form to make disparaging remarks about people who are not permitted to defend.

Slider and Iso have personalities/writing styles that provide an entertainment value to many readers. I'm certain either could host "Weakest Link". I like to show up every now and then to help stir up the WWF-style fued.

<<<I have some objections to these type of posts. One is that they did
not originate from posts on the HTP thread. Therefore they did not
result from a thread intrusion, a personal argument that is contemporary
but rather from old hurts and injuries to the ego from SD battles long
past.>>>

Isopatch was attacked some of our friends, we came to their defense. BTW, what is this fixation that you all on this board have with ego's being bruised. You guys sound like leftists trying to implement policies in the public school system.

<<< IMHO, posters reacting to old ego injuries in this manner do not have a
thick enough hide to be traders.>>>

Aww! Did wittle Woebear get his feewings hurt and have to use ignore! Listen clown! I would prefer not to be a stupid trader, however this is the only legal means I can think of to accumulate sufficient capital to live comfortably in the Bay Area. I would much prefer to concentrate on a real life.
