And elsewhere in the sports world . . .

A 28-year-old construction worker from Keizer, Ore.,
has been credited with bowling the fifth sanctioned
perfect 900 series.

James Hylton had planned to skip May 2, the first
night of his league season, because he was tired
from work, but said his team was counting on him.

''That's like winning the lottery,'' Hylton said of rolling
36 consecutive strikes. ''It'll never happen again, not
in my lifetime."

Yeah, Barkley was saying the same thing after the game. You gotta get it out of Iverson's hands (preferably into Mutombo's "hands" -g-).

>>>BTW, Vince shot zero free throws last night, exhibiting his one weakness: he doesn't take the ball to the basket enough.<<<

Agreed. Too many jumpers.
