Goldman Sachs funds trim stake in StorageNetworks

Investment funds managed by Goldman Sachs Group Inc. cut their stake in StorageNetworks Inc. to 10.3 percent from 12.1 percent of the Waltham data storage service provider's outstanding shares. Funds and individual accounts managed by the New York securities firm most recently sold shares of StorageNetworks for $14.04 apiece on May 3, and $15.35 apiece the next day, according to a Schedule 13D shareholder filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Goldman Sachs investment group now holds 9.9 million shares of StorageNetworks. StorageNetworks's shares rose 78 cents to $16.80. (Bloomberg)
