She seems to focus too much on the personalities on both shows and little on the substance

Those articles seem to be targeted at and written by non-business females.

I will never forgive Louis Rukeyser for ridiculing Robert Prechter who was a special guest on Wall $treet Week in the late 1980's. It was not a class act on Lou's part by any means, and turned me off to the show completely. No matter how right or wrong someone may be, or what methods they use to analyze the market, they should be treated with utmost respect by the host of the show when being interviewed on camera. Before that eye-opener, I was a regular viewer of WSW since the mid-1970's.
