Yeah...Volume looks decent...Decent being anytime AMD trades 5 million by noon which it will today at current pace...AMD strength today (compared with weakness since the debenture call announced last friday) indicates that most of the convertible related selling is finished and that a renewed challenge of the short term high of $33.15 has begun...Once again today, any reasonable volume traded above this AM's open of $30 has to be viewed very positively going forward...Perhaps Mr. Sanders will drop a few pony tidbits at SSB today that will propel AMD thru $30, if unsuccessful in its attempt in the interim!!!

Mark I see that the DOW, Nas and SOXX are within range of 11000, 2200 and 666 respectively and INTC, somehow, continues to flirt with $30...If such strength in these indicators can be sustained throughout the day, AMD must certainly have a good chance of eclipsing $30!!! Right now it's mired in around the same $29.20 as proved a significant challenge yesterday...Successful digestion of the overhang in the $29.20 range today paves the way for a second assault on $30, probably this PM if general indices remain solid!!!
