If the use of hard drugs is reckless, then it is wrong. Additionally, casual users help keep the pushers in the business, and thus are, to some extent, part of the problem that results in addicts.......

Drug legalization would take the criminal element out of the equation. A lot of young women prostitute themselves for drug money so that would evaporate somewhat. Bush being partly right that "drug use is wrong" forgets that is not the point. Drugs are legal, it's just that certain drugs are administered by so called trained professionals and others not.

But remember Bush has no real power to change anything, neither did Clinton. The big money calls the shots. Do you know how much a new prison costs?? Bush is starting to sound a lot like the portrayal of MT these last few weeks.

Abortion is wrong, however it is not legal for the state to infringe upon a woman and her rights and the same should apply to casual drug users.
