"I'm sure that you have reloaded your WOW software. If you haven't try that."

Several times. Even reloaded old, original software - same problem.

"Also, I'm sure the WOW techs checked all of your
WOW options to make sure they were set correctly."

Actually, no. But if that were it, why would I be
having the exact same problem with TradeStation which
I downloaded two days ago?
And why is the WOW software working on my old Gateway?

"It has been my experience that sometimes IE is best and sometimes Netscape."

I use to use Netscape without any problems and for some
reason I switched to IE about 2 yrs. ago.

"Off the wall fix,
locate cookies.txt and rename to cookies.old"

Now this sounds like a plan!
But where do I locate the cookies?...

"Also make sure the IE browser is configured to accept java applets."

Another good idea! How do I do that?
Sorry to be a pain in the butt - your talking to a guy
with a three-hundred-ring imagination, but no ticket to the computer circus...
and I really do appreciate your help.
I'm about 2 inches from full-on-total-blown frustration!
