Energy stocks are good medium term holds now and buys on dips. You can't really trade them as they move up slowly except on extraordinary news events. CHV typically moves up $1 a day on good days, for instance, about 1%. I think they'll continue trending up until peak driving season in mid summer. I'm holding my oils until then at least.

Retailers surge confounds me now with all the shorts screaming about consumer confidence collapsing and lay-offs. I'd say sell into this except fopr any hot brands or discounters. They had a sell-off last month so this could be seen as a correction of sorts.
