It didn't come across as a joke, it has been repeated as fact often on CNBC when it, isn't true & isn't accurate.

Yes, the US dollar has a lot to say in the future direction of gold's price, which is one reason why I'm trying to perfect a system for timing it's moves with precision. For now, the buy signal seems to be working out, but there is much more work to be done.....
