before you say router is a commodity, can you name 4 high-end router makers? Black and Decker, Sears, Skil and I'm not sure... I dont know.... I'm a dummy..... whatever those that might be over at Lightreading and redherring and hoovers..... I do like this from Light--Are there some wacky valuations out there? Of course. Juniper Networks, which has yet to crack $1 billion in annual revenue, is trading at a market capitalization of $45 billion. Time has proven, however, that there's a reason for companies such as Juniper being high-priced -- and nobody has been adept at calling the bottom on them. The list is meant to represent a slice of the market, a balanced portfolio of optical players providing a gradual upward trend as a whole lightreading.com I do think Procket is real interesting and Avici might be gaining ground and then there was Foundry and charlottes Network...... and then there is amber and pluris..... are you buying tonight's CNBS screw-up--? it hasn't got back up to the channel it was in....seems interesting --I bot in at 54.00 had opportunities lower but no info-- still sounds 'slimy' dont it-- bet lots of people lost on this.

After listening to today's warning and especially to the Q&A-- (they actually did not have that behind closed doors)- this particular post which I duly noted and remembered and was the kernel of the commodity issue becomes even more prominent Message 14318796 (speed not issue now-- its intelligence and JNPR leaning toward the edge and MPLS) actually there are many good questions and worth the listen.) I'm too much a dummy to actually think these up by myself-- I was shorting JNPR when Porter-Cable was named highest rated: epinions.com
