By the way, what got Tex tossed out... following a rape story he said:

"Confucius say when rape inevitible, lay back and enjoy it."

Serious stuff and not funny at all.

Those pictures of Uncle Wethbee were tossed out each night. I saved several and have one framed in my den. 'Once again Con Edison presents Uncle Wethbee who says...."

Tex was a great guy but had a problem with booze and diabetes. The two didn't mix and that silly remark finished him. Sadly.
