Haim, The picture you are painting is not pretty.
Of course, it is a possibility; I will accept that.
(especially since we have seen a bubble bursting phase)

I hope the economy rebounds before more damage is done. That is how the market seems to be taking it right now. Of course a stable or rising market can result in a bit of a wealth effect to offset the negatives (credit, joblessness etc..)..and the jobs return soon. It is going to be a delicate balance and "hopefully" it works out.

The possibility of a serious recession is not really being predicted by economists. That is why I am not considering it a factor in determining market direction at this time. It becomes less of a factor if the economic numbers get better.

However, if those economic numbers keep getting worse and worse........
