After that, I'm home free and I will definitely need the time. This weekend Matthew I will be setting up the lab for a type of testing that we've never really done here at AnandTech. For those of you that have been following the rumors, I don't have to spell out for you exactly what I'm testing. In "other" news, there is quite a bit of information floating around about two unannounced/unreleased AMD products: the Palomino core and the AMD 760MP chipset. Kudos to the sources that uncovered the information that is true, unfortunately there are some rumors I've been seeing in messageboards that are as far from the truth as can be. Time and time again I've seen situations where a company makes no official statement, rumors spread like wildfire and when the released product doesn't meet the expectations the rumors had set then there is quite a bit of dissappointment. Case in point would be the Matrox G800. Matrox never announced it and actually scratched plans to make it internally yet rumors spread. In the end quite a few were disappointed and somewhat angry with Matrox when they learned the truth was contrary to the rumors. Don't let the same thing happen with these two technologies. Oh and for those of you that caught my earlier post, all the pieces of the puzzle are now in my hands, time to start revealing them one by one... (with adherence to NDA dates of course ;)...)
