I don't remember. Maybe.

I tend to think of ethics as a standard of fair play for competition and collaboration amongst people. You don't deceive or cheat or slander, et cetera, to get an advantage.

I tend to think of immoral as sins against humanity-- sociopathic behavior. I would put human rights violations, the failure to nurture one's family, violence, disregard for the personhood of others, et cetera, in this category.

I don't know if others make these distinctions or if they make them the same way as I do. I don't know if it even matters. But I do think it's not particularly useful to just lump every offense under the label of immoral although I can see where those from a religious tradition might do so.
