In the semiconductor business, AMD doesn't control their own destiny. Intel can decide, on a day to day basis, what GM's and market share AMD will enjoy.

You guys on the AMD thread kid yourselves that AMD is the David to Intel's Goliath. AMD took a few points of market share in the last few quarters, and look at Intel's response, from a pricing and marketing perspective. It's not even heavy lifting for Intel, they could easily double those efforts.

Kap, start thinking in the real world, where big companies that dominate their industries control the destiny of small companies that don't have any financial or marketing muscle. Or you can continue to believe in the tooth fairy, David and Goliath, that AMD is going to slay the evil Intel, and other children's fantasies.

A little unbiased, rational real world independent thinking, away from the Mod AMD thread, might clear your head.
