Dave,

I do treasure the times with my children and the variety of flowers they find through out the year to bring to me.

One year, my daughter and the neighbor picked ever tulip in the back yard for their mom's!!! Who could ever yell at them for that!!!

About 2 weeks ago, the children had a day off school. I took time with each of the 4 children planting seeds with them in those little "green house" type seed starter things. The children had previously picked out and we bought the seeds they wanted to grow. The flower plants are in various stages from just sprouting, to about an inch high now. The kids look at them often and are in awe of them growing...from just tiny little seeds. Even the older kids are thinking it is cool. Tonight we were discussing where we were going to plant all the flowers!!! It is so much fun. I am looking forward to a really colorful yard this summer.

Happy Parenting!!
