Yet another thought on global trade....

One of the reasons I supported NAFTA was that I thought Mexico, which had been restrictive of foreign investment, had the choice of importing capital or exporting labor. I think that poor and/or ambitious people will correctly gravitate to where they see opportunity.

I also see a huge advantage to the shift of labor to the US. We will attract the best and most motivated people into our economy. However, there still is plenty of global room for jobs.

As I age, I suspect I am losing some of my faculties. From your responses, effective communications, seem to be going.

1. I did not support protecting software engineers;

2. I did not suggest that JVJ was a programmer.

Your phrase "competitive market" is telling. It should be redundant, but "markets" are usually not markets.
Too obscure?
