>>Remember this comment. It is so easy to get hung up on other activities and then miss what you planned to do. This does not typically happen at first but it surely happens a lot.<<

i can see that this is true and i'll do my best to stay focused. i have seen the bad effects a lack of education (in this case about drugs) can have on kids (my brother) and parents alike. the cost can be VERY high and last a loooooooooong time i don't want to pay it. nor do i want my kids to pay it.

glenn, nearly every mfg business runs this way. the result is a stressed system b/c management wants to gain more revenue 1 time in the history of the company. the first time you take revs from the following month you gain something. after that, you gain nothing b/c the end of month rush only makes up for the beginning of the new beginning of the month drought (caused by taking work and stuffing it into the prior month). i assure you this approach is the norm.

i think they lack common sense and a process / systems approach. far too many folks ONLY look at results. i focus on causes and the results will follow.

>>Please stay happy:-)<<

i try. :-)

btw, i think most ceos for hire would be envious of you for owning your business. that is the american dream!
