Scumbria, You forgot to post this part - President Bush would have won a hand recount of all disputed ballots in Florida's presidential election using the two most common standards for judging votes, according to a USA Today analysis published on Friday.

The newspaper said the study of 171,908 ballots also found that errors by Democratic voters probably cost former Vice President Al Gore (news - web sites) as many as 25,000 votes, If Democratic controled election boards make ballots that Democratic voters can't figure out we should just give the election to the Democrats? Also all of this requires the person making the determination to guess how people would have voted. I don't think you can ever be really certain of that. Some people look at the ballots and say well he voted for Democrats for congress so he would have voted for Gore. But this is not a good way to determine the intent of the voter because people don't always vote a for the same party in different contests. Tim

Scumbria, nothing new...we already knew Bush stole the election. I've tried to move on and learn to live with a false presidency. Its not easy but we're down to 3 1/2 years and counting. The last year will be easier because for most of that last year, he will be preparing to lose the election. ;~)) ted
