your question, not mine. i do not believe taxing just assets is appropriate. the FACT is that under the CURRENT system, those that own about 60% of the stuff pay about 60% of the taxes. i don't see this FACT as indicating the those folks who own 60% of the stuff are getting "robbed" by uncle sam any more than just about anybody else (i agree wre all are getting robbed in many ways, not all necessarily financial).
