Crazy Doug, Cooling fans

Are you seriously trying to tell me that cooling fans do not fail?

Herb

<< Anyone that loses a cooling fan, which is common, could have a problem >>

My MB will automatically stop and start beeping if RPM of the HSF goes below 3000. I have a KT7a-RAID, I don't know for other MB.

I can fool this mechanism by plugging an other fan like case fan, and I'm pretty sure my 1.2G will run cool enough to be safe if I avoid running stress program like the one that was listed as voiding the Intel warranty for coppermine, v.g. prime95, leaving win98 on the "please login" window...

Could somebody be kind enough to find that list on Intel web. I don't know how to search Intel web-site as fast as some people do.
