"The thing that confuses me, is in your post you said when trying to launch Netscape
you got an error that you had to have IE 4.
IE 5 is the most prominent browser out there."

It's as if IE doesn't want me to be able to figure out
how to use Netscape browser.

"The weird part is that only the short time durations don't work."

Yes, only missing minute increments on charts. Total weird-out.
This is how stupid I am - can't locate amount of disk space.
Went to properties and it's not there, or it's buried somewhere.
Anyway, I have 70% of disk space free.
BTW, I tried the Java thingie you suggested with negative results.
Then returned to java defaults.
Here's a funny thing - I have two phone lines and yesterday
after signing off the internet, the line I use for
the internet rang... a call coming in.
Remember, I was on the computer but not on the net... each time the phone rang I got a small cracking sound on the computer. Never did this in the past. Modem problem?
Yes, I know I need to look into DSL.
