Warning re : options guy -- I think he is assuming :

You put on trade number 1 (now) -- bear call spread.

You wait.

Things change the way that you hoped they would.

THEN ... you put on trade number 2 (later) -- bull put spread.

If this is what he is saying (it is not clear) ...

Then -- this is stupid.

Of course if the underlying security moves the way you hope it will ... you will have an opportunity to set up a great options position.
