Win, a 4-way Itanium system can contain up to 64GB of SDRAM. And even a 2-way Itanium system can contain up to 16GB of SDRAM. It's clear that Itanium systems are being designed with massive memory capacity in mind.

Imagine the memory capacity requirements of a system with more than four Itanium processors (i.e. a 64-way Itanium supercomputer), and you'll begin to understand why Itanium is architected to address up to 16 terabytes of memory.

By the way, you sound rather nervous. You should be.
