How about 20 % unemployment in the USA at one point (monthly data), DOW Industrials

sub 5K for one week, unemployment from USA government data (that may be published some months after the stipulated end date) DJIA data on a week basis. i.e. It opens and closes below 5k for the week (on a daily basis it might go above 5k).

I don't think I'll particularly have a chance to win, but I'll be happy to lose -g- In fact I'll be even happier if I'm hopelessly wrong!

There's some thinking going on that we are smarter today then we were in 1929. I don't see it.
