Dear Paul:

Microway has been selling 64 CPU Athlon Tbird clusters. Their current cluster features 1.3GHz Tbirds (other speeds available upon request), see: microway.com .

A 64 Tbird 1.3G/200 (256MB each) system costs $84,060 with software & hardware preconfigured and setup (total 16GB). It's available right now.

As to performance, many Athlon clusters are in the top 500 supercomputer list.
