I am not the one that claimed that my guy had SUCH GLOWING popularity.

You speak of Clinton as if more than 50% of Americans voted for him (i.e. a mandate). The man never, ever got a majority of the vote, much less more than 25% of Americans eligible to vote to vote for him. He wasn't inspirational, and I am sorry to have to break that to you.
