Lilacs sound like a good pillow. We have quite a profusion of flowers, including some of the most beautiful tulips I have seen, strategically planted at various points around the Smithsonian buildings. Flowering trees, not only cherry, which are pretty much past, but apple, crab apple, and others, are helping to create so much pollen that my cars are coated with yellow/green dust. The whole area is alive with color......
