shoreco - Take another gander at that COMPX chart and those indicators, you can see that things are extremely similar today to the positions they were in ~June 2000.

In that situation, the Naz crawled sideways for another several weeks and actually rose throughout the summer while those indicators were souring through August. It wasn't until the indicators actually recovered somewhat and then soured a second time during September that the COMPX finally broke to the downside in earnest.

It's beyond me whether the Naz is strong enough right now to repeat last summer's stubbornness, but making a bet that it will fail here might still be premature. Ya pays yer money and ya takes yer chances I guess.
