Paid basher post

There's another one running around here about the confession of a paid basher. It was a joke that someone wrote up. It's not real. People have just cut and pasted it without the ending which I think read "and if you believe that... LOL."

Anyone who posts a negative news item is considered a "paid basher" in the eyes of the insane longs or stock promoters when it's probably just someone wanting to inform investors of what's really happening so they can save money. I was almost thinking of typing up a "confession of a stock promoter" and posting it every time I see that paid basher bit.

If paid bashers do exist, I'm sure the ratio of paid bashers to promoters is probably 1:1,000. Every company has promoters, investor relations...insane longs who have fallen in love with their stock and turned the message board into a cheerleading club, house of workship and their hobby. I've noticed that the only negative posters I see are just posting news items, SEC docs... They don't just say "this stock sucks!" whereas the promoters just post "hang onto your seats, to the mooooon!" It's much more difficult to post negative items and be flamed than to post positive items and be praised. I believe the paid basher is basically a myth used by stock promoters to belittle any negative posters.
