< Somebody's paying attention to what the lesson of "free markets" is teaching in CA even if you're not. >

LOL, lesson 1. CA power was never a "free market"... even YOU have to agree with that no? So 'someones watching' in your state.... but they're still doing it no? Why don't you wake up and ask your self why instead of hiding your head in a hole.

<Didn't AZ experience some power price spikes related to CA this past winter?...>

Prices fluctuate my dear... I know this creates "agnst" in the coffee shop among the politico wannabees... why they don't worry about the same fluctuation in coffee prices is beyond me... bwtfdik

Just FYI they're talking about higher MWH prices all over the west this summer than those that originally shocked California... tell you anything?? Also, power plants on the drawing board all over AZ... ha haha

You're sitting awfully damn close to CA (AZ no?) to be so snotty and smug re: "free markets." Until you bleed green yourself the point will probably be lost on you. Didn't AZ experience some power price spikes related to CA this past winter?...Ho...ho...ho...Just wait my friend.

"Snotty and smug" is an excellent term for the brats on California who want Santa Clause to pay for their electricity.
